b καθέδραν only used in gospel of Matthew and Mark to refer to the seats of those who sold doves (Matt 21:12, Mk 11:25) and the seat of Moses' authority (Mt 23:2). This is the Greek word from which the Roman Catholic Church derrives the Latin words ex-cathedra to refer to the imagined seat of authority of the pope.
