Is 59:9
Therefore is justice far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.
because of this, judgment has disengaged from them and righteousness will not take hold of them. Having awaited light, darkness came to them, expecting dawn they walked in darkness (midnight)
