to reside/settle-down Lit:"down-dwell", hence reside/dwell-permanently, settle-down-thoroughly/pervasively and in full control, to be exactly at home (see Eph 3:17, Col 1:19, 2:9). Contrast with "παροικέω" (dwell-beside))
Is 40:22
It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,
and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers;
who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;
(He) is the one who holds fast the circle of the earth, and her inhabitants like hagab-locusts.[a] (He) is the one who set up like the cover of the sky and streatched it out as a tent to reside in.

a Hb. חגב ḥgb [H2284], here (and Nm. 13:33, 2 Chr. 7:13, and Qoh. 12:5) translated by Gk. ἀκρίς, which usu. translates Hb. ארבה ʾrbh [H697]. Per Lv. 11:22, hagab is thought to be one of four specific types of locust (of which arbeh, hargol, and sol'am are the other types).
