translation of this verse is left INTENTIONALLY rough for the reader to see what is there in the Greek. Both NETS and Brenton have offered their interpretive smoothing of the verse, pointing to what they believe is the subject of these dangling 3rd person verbs, I have intentionally left them vague for the reader to wrestle with.
