Mk 9:50
Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness were to ever become unsalty,[a] with what will you season it use for seasoning?[b] Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
———
a That is, impure to the point of dilution.
b Gk. ἐν τίνι αὐτὸ ἀρτύσετε, with what will you season it? "It" [αὐτὸ] is presumably indefinite, referring non-specifically to anything that needs seasoning.
