Acts 21:40
¶When he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the stairs, beckoned with his hand to the people. When there was a great silence, he spoke to addressed them in the Hebrew[a] languagedialect, saying,
———
a Not Aramaic because 1) this audience in Jerusalem understood Paul speaking this "διαλεκτω" whereas when addressed in Aramaic as quoted by Jesus from the cross, in Matthew 26:47, the crowd in Jerusalem did NOT understand the Aramaic, rather, they understood and responded to Jesus as if He were speaking to them in Greek, not only missing the direct quote of Psalm 22:2 but hearing the Aramaic name of God and understanding it as if Jesus were calling the GREEK/KOINE name of Elijah (Ηλι) !! 2) The text of Paul's quote that follows in Acts 22 is not transliterated and translated like the Aramaic in John and Matthew, rather, ths text is transparently cited in Koine Greek. 3) God is not the author of confusion but the Author of history and Zephaniah 3:9 and Daniel 7:6 and Deut 28:49 and Jer 5:15.
