προσ·φιλής -ές lovely (adj.) Presumed a Compound of pros (towards) and phileō (Love). Has been translated as friendly towards, acceptable, pleasing, or lovely. In Phil 4:8 it is perhaps better understood as that which provokes love, or moves us towards loving.
