ἀνά·λυσις, -εως, ἡ release/departure (n.)
ἀνα+λύω to detach/break free (v.) [see analyze: to deconstruct or decompose (in order to identify) the parts from a whole]
ἀπο+λύω to release (v.) Lit:"loose-from", hence release, let-go, divorce, free, pardon. Also a euphemism for die.
