Mt 26:64
¶Jesus said to him, “So You you have said it.[a] Nevertheless, I tell you, after this from this moment you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.”[b]
———
a Lit. You said. Jesus' answer is not That's right, but rather You haved claimed this, not I. (This is attested by Pilate's non-reaction to a similar reply in 27:11: You say.) His answer, therefore, is essentially the same as his reply to Peter in Matthew 16:17b: Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. with the enormous distinction being that it was the Jews' leaders who told Pilate and God who revealed the truth to Peter.
b Jesus here declares commencement of the final part of the vision in Daniel 7 in which the one like a son of man is escorted before the Ancient of Days and is given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty.
