Usu. translates Hb. ארבה ʾrbh [H697].

arbeh (and therefore ἀκρίς) refers generically to locusts, but also can refer to a specific cycle of the locust, or to a specific type of locust.

Per Jl. 1:4 and Jl. 2:25, an arbeh is thought to be one for four cycles of the locust, the resident adult stage (yeleq, hasil, and gazam are the other stages).

Per Lv. 11:22, an arbeh is thought to be one of four specific types of locust (of which <em<hagab, hargol, and sol'am are the other types)
